One of our recent projects saw us create bespoke eco-friendly medals and custom printed lanyards for the Coca-Cola Inclusion Run, an event that celebrates inclusion, community, and the joy of movement.
What is the Coca-Cola Inclusion Run?
The Coca-Cola Inclusion Run is a unique event that brings together people of all abilities to participate in a fun, welcoming, and inclusive running experience. Unlike traditional races, the focus is not on finishing times or competition, but on participation, community spirit, and ensuring that everyone can take part regardless of age, ability, or background.
The event has become a powerful symbol of inclusion, bringing together people with and without disabilities to share the experience of running, walking, or wheeling side-by-side. Proceeds from the event support Special Olympics programmes, helping to create more opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities and promoting inclusion through sport. The event has attracted hundreds, and in some years over a thousand participants, all united by the same message: everyone belongs.
Designing the Medals
For this project, Coca-Cola required a medal that reflected both the spirit of the event and its commitment to sustainability.
Working closely with the event organisers, we developed a custom wooden medal design that incorporated the event branding while maintaining our environmentally conscious approach. Each medal was precision laser cut and engraved in our Isle of Man workshop using sustainably sourced materials.
Our goal was to create an award that participants would be proud to keep long after the event had finished, while also reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional metal medals.
Custom Printed Coca-Cola Lanyards
To complement the medals, we also produced bespoke printed lanyards featuring Coca-Cola branding.
Each lanyard was carefully designed to match the event identity and provide a professional finish to the final product. The combination of custom printed lanyards and engraved wooden medals created a distinctive and memorable award package for participants.
The printed lanyards ensured that the Coca-Cola branding remained highly visible while adding an extra premium touch to the overall presentation.
From Design to Production
Every medal was produced in-house by our team.
The process included:
- Creating the initial design concepts
- Producing digital proofs for approval
- Precision laser cutting
- Detailed engraving
- Quality checking every medal
- Attaching the custom printed lanyards
- Carefully packaging the finished medals ready for delivery
By controlling the entire production process ourselves, we were able to ensure exceptional quality while maintaining fast turnaround times.
